Yesterday, students in Mrs. Duguay’s fourth grade class at Rutland Town School presented a Reader’s Theater to other classmates; this time, they performed allusions to classic Greek mythology tales. The first group performed a twist on the classic story of the Trojan horse. The second group presented a twist on the story of King Midas and the Golden Touch. Students did an amazing job performing, even including their own props. Their classmates engaged after the performances, asking critical and observational questions. It’s amazing to see all the hard work the students put into these performances! Check out some of the highlights below.
