PrHS students introduce careers to PrES students

This morning, 10th grade students from Proctor High traveled down to Proctor Elementary to introduce the 5th and 6th graders to various career fields and opportunities. The 10th grade students thoroughly researched their field of choice in order to give accurate information, including interviewing and meeting professionals in their field. The career fields included were: police officers, military, environmental science, anesthesiology, X-Ray technicians, sales representatives, travel nursing, electricians, welding, motor sports, Game Wardens, and coaching. The 5th and 6th grade students learned what skills are necessary, the training required, and exactly what each field entails. They asked thoughtful questions, engaged with their older peers, and learned a lot about the possibilities that their future holds!

Thank you to the PrHS students who presented, and also thank you to the 5th and 6th grade students who participated. What a great way for younger students to learn from their older peers! Check out the highlights below.
