Layla Deppert of Poultney Elementary School was the 5th grade winner of the 2022-2023 American History Essay Contest, “Delegate to Second Continental Congress.” This contest was sponsored by Ann Story Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) for Rutland County area students in grades 5-8.
