- Girls’ on the Run is a Nationwide program that encourages girls from 3rd to 8th grade to get outside to run, while also teaching them valuable lessons such as empathy and confidence.

- Members are elected at the beginning of the school year, and then try their best to instill the ideas that their fellow peers may have.
- Winter Sports Program
- During the winter, students have the option to extend their learning outside the classroom. Some examples include: skiing/snowboard and ice skating.

- Fun Fridays
- As an alternative way to learn, during Fun Fridays, students are able to choose from various activities such as: skiing/snowboarding at Pico, board games, yoga, macramé, and even painting ceiling tiles.
- S.T.A.R Club
- S.T.A.R students are Safe, Trustworthy, Acceptance, and Respect. Students in this club are identified as such, and help run assemblies and nominate students from each grade level every month to be recognized.

- Lifetime Sports
- Students have the opportunity to explore sports as an alternative way to learn. Activities include: snowboarding/skiing at Pico, cross-country skiing, bowling, ice skating, and in-house activities such as games, makerspace, etc.
- E.Y.E.S Program
- End of the Year Enrichment Studies are for students in grades 7th & 8th, where they can explore various different topics to learn more about. This occurs at the end of the school year. Some examples include: graphic design & photography, foreign cuisine, swimming, yard games, mountain biking, engineering, and art.
- Green Team
- This is a group of students who meet during their lunch to discuss climate change. They have created podcasts, met with guest speakers, created posters, and take time to clean up around the school grounds.
- Spelling Bee
- Students are invited to compete in an annual Spelling Bee, meeting several times before competing.
- Band & Chorus
- The band and chorus groups perform throughout the year at different events.
- Bigs & Littles
- Students from middle school are paired with the younger students, where they do various activities such as playing games in the gym, art projects, or reading.
- Student Counsel
- Student Counsel elects their officers at the beginning of the school year. Then, student counsel tries throughout the year to fulfill their peers ideas and requests.
- Athletics
- RTS offers a variety of different athletic teams including: soccer, basketball, softball, baseball, and lacrosse.
